Your Sermon Is Already Online.

Let's Make It a Doorway.

Wednesday, August 26 · 9:30 AM Central / 10:30 AM Eastern · Live online

Imagine what happens when your message Is found At Just the Right Moment

What if every sermon you pour your heart into became a doorway to your church? What if your church stopped being the best-kept secret in town and became a voice people find, trust, and come back to?

There are people in your community looking for answers to life's big questions. Where do people go when they have questions nowadays? Most people go to the internet - either through a google search or, more and more, through AI chatbots.

Jesus loves people and our job is to reach them - doesn't it make sense for us to be intentional about the type of presence we have online?

Unless sermon content is uploaded to the internet with a little bit of know-how and some intentionality, the content itself may as well be INVISIBLE to people in your community. Unless they very specifically come looking for it they will never find it.

There are lost and hurting people in your community open to the Gospel - let's put your ministry in front of them.

This workshop is designed to help you do that.

A live, practical workshop that helps preachers and their teams turn the sermons you're already preaching into content your local community will actually find — and won't forget.

You're already doing the hard work

You pray. You study. You craft the message. You preach it. And most weeks, you make sure it gets online.

But being online isn't the same as being found.

Your sermon is usually buried inside a video, on a page titled something like "Week 4" — and search engines and AI tools can't watch a video or make sense of a vague title.

So when someone in your community types the exact question you answered on Sunday into Google, or asks an AI, your church never comes up.

If you're a preacher with years of content backed up on the web, you are sitting on a gold mine of search data that has never been utilized the way it could be.

Not only could your new and future content benefit from what we're going to teach you - you can work over your old sermons too, and there's no telling what kind of fruit having discoverable content online will bear over time when properly handled.

Meet the Instructors

Wes Woodell

Wes is going on his 23rd year in ministry. His service has included roles as a full-time preacher, planting churches and launching campus ministries.

He started learning search and web work back in 2005, and in 2019 turned it into his agency, Dubya Digital, where he's helped businesses grow their reach online and fuel explosive growth. He later founded Connect My Church to serve churches and non-profits.

Today, he brings that same expertise to the church by building digital platforms, improving search, and growing social reach for ministries like Christian Standard, RENEW.org and others. His real passion is making much of Christ to people who don't yet know Him, and Wes believes in leveraging technology toward that end.

Trey Sheneman

Trey is the founder of Herald and author of The Compass Method.

A seminary graduate who served a number of years in full-time ministry before moving into marketing, he's spent the better part of two decades as a growth strategist for leaders like John Maxwell and Dave Ramsey, and has advised 200+ organizations on how to make their message land.

Trey is passionate about elevating the name of Jesus and the ministry of Jesus' church, and has a genuine desire born out of his faith in the Lord to see local churches and Christian ministries thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this some kind of bait and switch?

No, this is not one of those low cost workshops (like others you might have seen advertised online) that force you to pay additional fees before you can get real help. Christian Standard has invited Wes and Trey to do this workshop as a service to the church. We want to help good preachers raise their visibility online so more people will come to know Jesus and churches will grow!

I already post my sermons online. Do I need this workshop?

Yes you do. Our instructors have checked out samples of churches from across the country, and found that very few are posting content that is findable for local searchers or really leveraging the content they are already creating. They'll show you what the problem is with your current process, and how a few very doable fixes can change everything.

Do I need to be technical?

Being tech savvy will help, but it is not required. If you can operate email and have a teachable spirit, Wes and Trey can help you learn what they're teaching.

What if I can't attend live?

A recorded replay will be available after the event is over.

Where does my money go?

100% to Christian Standard, a nonprofit ministry dedicated to bringing high quality articles and media to the Restoration Movement.

Will A.I. Tools be used?

Yes - Wes and Trey will be teaching you some basic skills to use AI to speed up the processing work it takes to do this. They will not be advocating for AI to be used in the crafting of messages, but will be teaching you how to optimize sermon content for search on church websites and how you can repurpose sermon content for other things using AI tools.
